LPR militia demines six hectares in Volkodayevo, Kolyadovka areas over 24 hours

Military&Defence
Lugansk People’s Republic engineers have demined more than six hectares of territory next to the Volkodayevo and Kolyadovka villages in the Novoaidar district over the past 24 hours, LPR People’s Militia spokesman Ivan Filiponenko said.

“LPR militia engineer units continue mine clearance in the Republic,” Filiponenko said. “On November 6, they cleared more than six hectares of territory of the explosive hazards left by Ukrainian nationalists in the Volkodayevo and Kolyadovka settlement areas.”

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.

The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022, based on the results of the unification referendum.*i*ie
