LPR militia demines five hectares in Vishnyovoye, Razdolnoye areas over 24 hours

Lugansk People’s Republic engineers have demined more than five hectares of territory next to the Vishnyovoye and Razdolnoye villages in the Starobelsk district over the past 24 hours, LPR People’s Militia spokesman Ivan Filiponenko said.

“LPR militia engineer units continue mine clearance in the Republic,” Filiponenko said. “On October 25, they cleared more than five hectares of territory of the explosive hazards left by Ukrainian nationalists in the Razdolnoye and Vishnyovoye settlement areas.”

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.

The Lugansk People’s Republic joined Russia on September 30, 2022, based on the results of the unification referendum.*i*ie
