LPR militia demines eight hectares in Parnevoye, Brusovka areas over 24 hours

Military&Defence
Lugansk People’s Republic engineers have demined more than eight hectares of territory near the Parnevoye and Brusovka villages in the Belovodsk district over the past 24 hours, LPR People’s Militia spokesman Ivan Filiponenko said.

“LPR militia engineer units continue mine clearance in the Republic,” Filiponenko said. “On November 13, they cleared more than eight hectares of territory of the explosive hazards left by Ukrainian nationalists in the Parnevoye and Brusovka settlement areas.”

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.

The Lugansk People’s Republic became a part of Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*ie
