LPR liberates Popsnaya and Nizhneye 

LPR People's Militia has announced the liberation of Popasnaya and Nizhneye today.

The spokesperson of the Defence Ivan Filiponenko said that "Popasnaya and Nizhneye are liberated, the Victory Banner was raised over the Nizhneye administration".

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.

On February 24, 2022 Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation in Donbass to protect residents of the region from Ukrainian aggression. Earlier, the Heads of the Lugansk and Donetsk People’s Republics, Leonid Pasechnik and Denis Pushilin, requested Russian President Vladimir Putin to provide military assistance. *t
