Lugansk People’s Republic Head Leonid Pasechnik issued a decree ordering the LPR People's Militia to organize and hold training involving 1,000 reservists.
“With the view of training reservists and improving their skills <...> I order the LPR People’s Militia to organize and hold a battle assembly for reservists in the period from August 23 to August 27, ” according to the document.
The drill will involve 1,000 reservists; 72 transport vehicles will be allocated to staff militia units and military bodies.
The directors of companies across the LPR have to make sure that they keep the jobs and pay of the employed reservists for the period of battle assembly.
The decree also commits the LPR militia to taking COVID-19 precautions during the drill, such as wearing masks and gloves and observing social distancing of 1.5 meters. *i*t
