LPR Head increases number of reservists in training to 3,500

Lugansk People’s Republic Head Leonid Pasechnik has ordered the LPR militia to organize and hold training for 3,500 reservists.

The order annuls the previous instruction dated August 18, 2020 which committed the LPR militia to involving 1,000 reservists in the drills.

“With the view of training reservists and improving their skills <...> I order the LPR People’s Militia to organize and hold battle assemblies for reservists in the period from from August 23 to August 27, ” according to the document.

Pasetchnik also ordered to provide 252 vehicles for equipping militia units and military bodies.

The directors of companies across the LPR have to make sure that they keep the jobs and pay of employed reservists for the period of the battle assembly.

The reservists have to observe mask and gloves requirements, as well as social distancing of 1.5 meters during the training. *i*s
