LPR grasps to evacuate civilians in face of Ukraine invasion of Donbass

Key LPR Ministries are ready to begin civilian evacuation to Russia, as they began preparations to transfer residents of the LPR to the border on Friday.

Both the DPR and the LPR announced an evacuation of their region's residents to Russia on Friday.

The move comes amid a spike in shelling in the area provoked by the Western media campaign alleging Russian invasion of Ukraine and encouraging Kiev to build up tensions on the contact line.

The Ministry of Interior said it is on high alert and reinforces patrols, the Minsitry of health said it is opening urgent aid centres on the border crossing points with Russia, the Ministry of Education has suspended classes at schools and higher education institutions until further notice, the Ministry of Transport is taking action to assist the evacuation process.

Earlier on Friday, the LPR Head Leonid Pasechnik said that Kiev is ready to attack and to launch an operation to advance deep into LPR territory. *ot
