LPR expects new batch of Sputnik Light vaccine on Aug 9 - Ministry of Health

A new batch of Russian Sputnik Light vaccines is expected in the LPR on Monday, August 9, the Ministry of Health said.

“We expect the next batch of Russian Sputnik Light vaccines on August 9."

The first batch of Sputnik Light vaccine was shipped to the LPR on July 28.

Sputnik Light is a single dose COVID-19 vaccine developed by the Gamaleya Research Institute of Epidemiology and Microbiology.

The single dose Sputnik Light vaccine demonstrated 79.4% efficacy according to analyzed data taken from 28 days after the injection was administered as part of Russia’s mass vaccination program between 5 December 2020 and 15 April 2021. *t
