LPR exhumes remains of 126 Ukrainian aggression victims

Representatives of the Lugansk People’s Republic working group on the search for burial sites of Ukrainian aggression victims, their identification and perpetuation of their memory, have exhumed remains of 126 victims of Ukrainian army aggression since the launch of the program.

“Overall, remains of 126 civilians, victims of Ukrainian aggression, were retrieved from mass graves," said Anna Soroka, the head of the group and first deputy Foreign Affairs minister.

Remains of 36 people exhumed from a Krasnodon burial sites have been reburied today at the town's cemetery.

The first exhumation of a Ukrainian aggression victim by the working group took place in the village of Sabovka, Slavyanoserbsk district, on August 11. *t
