LPR executive bodies to be abolished by June 1, 2023

Lugansk People’s Republic Acting Head Leonid Pasechnik has issued a decree on abolishing the Republic’s executive bodies of state authority, in connection with the LPR entry into Russian legal environment.
 
 The liquidation commissions to be set up under the decree have to complete the abolishment procedure by June 1, 2023.
 
The government bodies slated for liquidation comprise the agencies run by the Head of the Republic and the Republic’s government.
The assets of the government bodies will be transferred into federal ownership and assigned to federal executive bodies’ territorial departments in the Lugansk People’s Republic.
 
The Lugansk People’s Republic acceded to Russia on September 30, 2022 following the unification referendum.*i*v
