LPR education, sport ministries to participate in seven federal projects - Pasechnik

The Education and Science Ministry and the Culture, Sport and Youth Ministry of the Lugansk People’s Republic will take part in seven federal projects, LPR Acting Head Leonid Pasechnik said.
 
“Pursuant to presidential instruction on involving the new territories in the implementation of the national project, I monitor the work of the Republic’s ministries, departments and municipal and district administrations on this track,” Pasechnik wrote on Telegram.
 
The LPR Education and Science Ministry has named six federal projects it is going to join: “Modern School,” “Digital Education Environment,” “Russian Youth,” “Patriotic Upbringing,” “Social Activity,” and “Success of Each Child,” he said adding that the Culture, Sport and Youth Ministry had selected the “Sport Is the Norm of Life” project thus far.
 
"The Russian Sport and Education Ministries as well as the “United Russia” political party are helping us a lot for which I’m thankful,” the LPR leader said.
 
The LPR Agriculture and Food Ministry, Construction, Housing and Utilities Ministry, Natural Resources and Environmental Safety Ministry and Infrastructure and Transport Ministry will also participate in Russia’s national projects.
 
President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with Cabinet officials on January 11 urged involvement of the new regions in national projects.
 
Pasechnik said that all LPR areas must participate in Russian national projects.*i*v
