LPR, DPR abolish customs control as part of common customs territory

LPR Customs Committee no longer exercises custom control at the LPR-DPR border, said the chairman of the Committee Yuri Afanasyevsky.

The Single Economic Council set up within the framework of the treaty on establishing a common customs space and developing economic integration between the Donbass Republics approved the uniform customs tariff on September 30.

Both Republics began dismantling customs posts along their shared border on Friday morning.

On September 30, Lugansk People’s Republic Head Leonid Pasechnik and Donetsk People’s Republic Head Denis Pushilin held the first session of the Single Economic Council set up within the framework of the treaty on establishing a common customs space and developing economic integration between the Republics. *t
