LPR commission sets dates for parliamentary, municipal elections
ElectionsThe Lugansk People’s Republic Election Commission has set the dates for the elections to the LPR People’s Council (parliament) and municipal bodies, election officials said.
“The Commission has decided on three-day voting at the election of deputies to the 1st LPR parliament and municipal bodies, scheduled for September 10, 2023. The voting will take place on September 8, 9 and 10,” the Election Commission said.
It also approved the schedule of events to prepare for the election and voter documents.
On June 15, Russia’s Central Election Commissions announced elections in the new regions on Single Voting Day on September 10, following consultations with the Defense Ministry and Federal Security Service. The voting can last up to three days.*i*v
