Artillery attacks by Kiev forces have damaged or destroyed more than 2,800 homes and 245 civil infrastructure facilities in the Lugansk People’s Republic since the contact line situation escalated on February 17, the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported.
“(In the period from February 17 to September 22, 2022), 2,853 homes in 61 settlements were damaged or destroyed and 245 civil infrastructure facilities were damaged,” the report said.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force. *i*s
