Kiev forces shelled the Lugansk People’s Republic three times on September 20, the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported.
“Ukrainian armed formations fired three times at the settlements of Alchevsk, Svatovo and Nizhnyaya Duvanka using an American M 142 high mobility artillery rocket system (ten M31 GMLRS missiles),” the report said.
Ukrainian artillery attacks damaged 11 apartment houses, two pharmacies, a shop and cafe in Alchevsk and partially ruined a kindergarten, a school and shops of an agribusiness in the Nizhnyaya Duvanka village.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force. *i*s
