Kiev forces shelled the territory of the Lugansk People’s Republic four times on September 27, the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine’s war crimes (JCCC) reported.
“Ukrainian armed formations fired four times at Alchevsk, Kremennaya and Bryanka, using an American M142 HIMARS rocket system (firing 19 M31 GMLRS missiles), and 155 mm artillery (6 rounds)” the report said.
The strike on Alchevsk damaged food and industrial goods wholesale warehouses, and a cemetery.
The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. The peace talks that began soon thereafter failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force. *t
