Kiev forces shell LPR 943 times over three months - JCCC

Kiev forces have shelled the Lugansk People’s Republic 943 times since the contact line escalation three months ago, the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.

“Over the past three months, (from February 17 to May 17, 2022), the LPR Office at the JCCC recorded 943 strikes by Ukrainian armed formations at LPR areas, which used heavy weapons (missiles, multiple rocket launchers, artillery and mortars),” the report said.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks participants have announced ceasefire more than 20 times since the autumn of 2014. Kiev forces regularly violated the truce opening fire with large caliber artillery, mortars and tank guns which were to have been withdrawn from the contact line under the accords. *i*s
