Employing combat aviation and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) in 30km-wide zone along the line of contact is banned under Article 7 of Minsk Memorandum, with the exception to OSCE SMM UAVs.

Kiev forces used radio electronic warfare equipment to interfere with the operation of OSCE Special Monitoring Mission unmanned aerial vehicles in two settlement areas, the Lugansk People’s Republic People’s Militia press service reported.

“To prevent the recording of violations, 30th Brigade gunmen used Bukovel-AD systems of the 20th Separate Radio Electronic Warfare Battalion in the Vershina and Podgornoye settlement areas,” the report said.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014. Conflict settlement relies on the Package of Measures for the Implementation of the Minsk Agreements, signed on February 12, 2015 in the Belarussian capital by the Contact Group members and coordinated by the Normandy Four heads of states (Russia, Germany, France and Ukraine). The document provides for ceasefire and withdrawal of heavy weapons from the contact line. *i*s
