Kiev forces have fired more than 9,700 rounds of ammunition at the Lugansk People’s Republic since the contact line escalation three months ago, the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination (JCCC) reported.

“(Over the past three months, from February 17 to May 17, 2022), the enemy has expended 9,745 rounds of ammunition overall, including nine Tochka-U tactical ballistic missiles and 1,837 BM-21 “Grad,” BM-27 “Uragan” and BM-30 “Smerch” multiple rocket launcher rounds,” the report said.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The Donbass peace talks participants have announced ceasefire more than 20 times since the autumn of 2014. Kiev forces regularly violated the truce opening fire with large caliber artillery, mortars and tank guns which were to have been withdrawn from the contact line under the accords.*i*s
