Russia’s urban planning institute suggests repairing existing Severodonetsk infrastructure

The Unified Institute for Spatial Planning (EIPP) which is drawing the master plan for Severodonetsk suggests preserving and repairing the existing healthcare, education, culture and sport facilities in the town.
Under the master plan, the existing social infrastructure facilities have to be repaired or rebuilt; it also proposes the construction of a new drama theatre, the EIPP press service said. Severodonetsk’s stadium, physical culture centers and the tennis court will be repaired, and new recreation centers will be built.
“The proposed measures are consonant with the country’s social policy aimed at improving living standards, increasing welfare and longevity and producing healthy and creative generations,” EIPP Regional Development Director Irina Zaichikova said.*i
