Former Kurgan region official to serve as LPR government deputy chairman

Former deputy governor of Russia’s Kurgan region Vladislav Kuznetsov has been appointed first deputy chairman of the Lugansk People’s Republic government.

“Under LPR Head’s decree, Vladislav Kuznetsov has been appointed first deputy chairman of the LPR government,” the Cabinet said on its Telegram channel.

Kuznetsov, 53, is a graduate of the Sergo Ordzhonikidze State University of Management. He began his career as a manager with the Firm ISTEK state and public organization and worked his way though to top posts in the banking sector and at such companies as Siberian-Ural Petrochemical and Gas company, Sibur Motors, Polief and Sibur-PETF.  

He also was a member of the Bashkortorstan parliament since 2013. On January 9, 2019, he was appointed deputy governor of the Kurgan region. He is married with two children.*i
