Demobilized students from the Lugansk People’s Republic can undergo rehabilitation in the Volgograd region, said Russian senator for the LPR Darya Lantratova, a deputy secretary of the “United Russia” political party’s General Council.

“Return to a peaceful life and solution of health problems were among the key issues at the meeting with Lugansk State Pedagogical University students. Russian parliament member Alexey Volotskov took part in the discussion,” Lantratova wrote on Telegram.

“Many regions already admit our guys for rehabilitation. The other day we reached an accord with the “Elton” recreation center in the Volgograd region which can arrange rehabilitation,” she said.

Lantratova said that the Russian parliament has already approved a number of measures to support demobilized students such as budget-funded tuition.
Some of the 80 demobilized pedagogical university students chose to continue fighting on the frontline, she added.
