Civilian killed as Kiev forces shell Kremennaya - local authorities

A civilian was killed in a Ukrainian army attack on the town of Kremennaya in the Lugansk People’s Republic on August 2, the district administration reported.
 
​​“A house in Sportivnaya Street took a direct hit when the owner was in the yard,” the report said. “He was fatally wounded and died on the way to hospital.”
 
“One of the key objectives of Ukrainian Nazis is to cause panic among civilians, so they have stepped up the strikes at the town’s civil infrastructure recently, local officials said.
 
On August 1, Olymp Stadium premises were damaged in the Kiev army attack on Kremennaya.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
 
President Vladimir Putin announced a special military operation on February 24, 2022 to protect Donbass residents from Ukrainian aggression.
