Children and Youth Movement regional council holds first session in Lugansk

The Lugansk People’s Republic government house hPasechnikas hosted the first meeting of the regional coordination council of the All-Russia Public and State Movement of Children and Youth.
 
The meeting was chaired by LPR Acting Head Leonid Pasechnik.
 
The participants unanimously supported the nomination of Ruyal Alieyv to the post of chairman of the movement’s Lugansk branch. Aliyev had previously worked as deputy director of the Center for Developing Children and Youth Movement. The meeting approved LPR parliament speaker Denis Miroshnichenko as Aliyev’s deputy and LPR Minister of Culture, Sport and Youth Dmitry Sidorov as executive secretary. The central coordination council of the all-Russia movement will make the final decision on the nominees.
 
“I’m urging everybody, let’s make it beautiful the way we can, not on paper, in slogans or calls, but in practice, effectively, so that our children feel that they are cared for, so that they love their Motherland and be loyal to it, so that they be true residents of the LPR within the Russian Federation, so that we all live together and never quarrel,” Pasechnik said addressing the youths.
 
He expressed confidence that the movement which is taking shape in Russia would consolidate children, youth organizations and labor teams in one objective, love for the Motherland.
 
LPR Deputy Minister of Culture, Sport and Youth Vasily Noskov said that the regional branch would comprise leading youth organizations and movements.
 
“Our Republican organization Young Guard has 52,00 members in 17 towns and districts,” he said. “We believe that this organization will be one of the driving forces in the Russian children and youth movement, a platform to consolidate and organize the movement and promote its development.”
 
LPP Education and Science Minister Ivan Kusov said that the Republic would sent a delegation of 15 youth activists to the fist congress of the All-Russia Movement of Children and Youth in Moscow on December 17-21. The congress will decide on the official name of the new movement and approve its main objectives and tasks.

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law on establishment of children and youth movement in Russia on July 14, 2022. The movement had its first meeting on July 20. It was founded by regional branches of Russian youth organizations and movements such as Yunarmia (Young Army) and Russian movement of schoolchildren.*i*v
