Apartment building damaged as Kiev forces shell Lisichansk

An apartment in a four-storey building caught fire as a result of the Ukrainian artillery strike at Lisichansk on Tuesday; there were no civilians casualties, said the press service of the Emergency Situations Ministry Department for the Lugansk People’s Republic.
 
“The town emergency service was alerted to a fire in Sverdlov Street at 14:46,” the press service said.
 
As the rescuers arrived at the scene, furniture and household effects were on fire on an area of 12 square meters, and there was a risk of fire spreading to other apartments.
 
 Nobody was hurt in the incident. The fire was extinguished at 15:39, the Ministry said.
 
Also on Tuesday, an apartment building and stadium infrastructure in the town of Kremennaya were damaged in a Kiev artillery attack.
