All LPR territorial election commissions ready for September voting

All members of the territorial election commissions (TIK) in the Lugansk People’s Republic are ready for the September 10 elections, said LPR Election Commission Deputy Chairperson Marianna Sumskaya.
 
The TIK members have been trained to prepare and hold the regional parliamentary and municipal elections, Sumskaya said.
 
 “I’m confident that all LPR TIK members are ready for the September 10 elections,” the LPR Election Commission’s official Telegram channel quoted her as saying.
 Two political parties - the Liberal Democratic Party of Russia and Just Russia -  Patriots -  for Truth - have already notified the election organizers about the planned events to nominate their candidates.
 
The LPR Election Commission also plans to train district election commission members and other election process participants.
 
Sumskaya earlier said that political parties would nominate their candidates in the period from July 24 to August 17.

The LPR Election Commission announced that the Republic would hold its parliamentary and municipal elections on September 8-10. It set up 31 territorial election commissions.
 
Early voting, organization of plebiscite in public spaces and ballot casting options for certain groups of the population are provided for by regional law.
