92 LPR civilians killed in HIMARS attacks over year - JCCC

Kiev forces have fired high mobility artillery rocket systems at the Lugansk People’s Republic 227 times over a year killing 92 people, the LPR Office at the Joint Centre for Control and Coordination of issues related to Ukraine's war crimes (JCCC) told the Lugansk Media Center.
 
“Over the period from June 24, 2022 to June 1, 2023, Ukrainian armed formations expended 781 HIMARS missiles in 227 attacks on the LPR,” the JCCC said. “Ninety-two people were killed.”
 
The fatalities are 76 men, 14 women and two children. Another 175 people were wounded: 99 men, 62 women and 14 children.
 
Damage was caused to 1,035 homes and 298 infrastructure facilities, the JCCC said.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks failed to reach tangible results due to Kiev’s position to settle the conflict by force.
