90,000 LPR children get health checkups

Medics in the Lugansk People’s Republic have examined more than 90,000 children as part of the child health program, Lugansk People’s Republic government deputy chairperson Anna Todorovoa said.
 
“We started well child check-ups in November 2022,” Todorov said in a post Telegram.
 
Medical examinations are carried out by pediatricians, neurologists, pediatric surgeons, ophthalmologists, psychiatrists, obstetricians, urologists etc. from Bashkortostan, Moscow, Tatarstan and the Bryansk, Volgograd, Saratov, Leningrad, Kaluga, Voronezh and Moscow regions, she said.
 
 As of February 10, 2023, medics had checked up more than 70,000 children in the Lugansk People’s Republic.  
 
The Russian government allocated almost 1.5 billion rubles for medical examination of children in the new Russian regions until the end of the school year.
