Fifteen people have been killed in Ukrainian armed formations’ strike at Stakhanov, Lugansk People’s Republic Head Leonid Pasechnik wrote on his Telegram channel.

At 05:10, Ukrainian forces fired Uragan” multiple rocket launchers at Stakhanov.

“Two upper floors of an apartment house collapsed; rescuers retrieved 13 bodies from under the debris. The strike claimed the lives of two more Stakhanov residents; ten people were wounded,” the LPR Head said.

He conveyed his condolences to the victims’ families and wished the wounded a speedy recovery.

“The trial of Ukrainian criminals is not far off. Soon all the culprits will answer for each ruined house, for each killed and each wounded resident of the Republic,” he added.

The Ukrainian government launched the so-called anti-terrorist operation against Donbass in April 2014.  The peace talks participants have announced ceasefire more than 20 times since the autumn of 2014. Kiev forces regularly violated the truce opening fire with large caliber artillery, mortars and tank guns which were to have been withdrawn from the contact line under the accords. *i*s
