Russia’s Construction, Housing and Utilities Minister Irek Faizullin has elaborated on the plans to build water supply facilities in the Lugansk People’s Republic.

“The Ministry is carrying out this extensive work in LPR settlement step by step, jointly with other regions,” Faizullin said as he shared the plans in an interview with the Lugansk Media Center.

“For example, a pumping station has been installed for the towns of Rovenki and Lisichansk to supply water to 36,000 people,” he said adding that another seven pumping stations would go online for reserve water supply.

The repairs of the Svetlichnoye water intake will improve water supply to Kirovsk, Pervomaisk and five satellite settlements whose population totals 360,000, he said.*i*sb
